Kale’s Closet is a place where people come together to talk about fashion sins and the latest counterfeit items in America today. Kale’s Closet is also a place for you connect with others who have a love for fashion. We’re about embracing all kinds of style, not just runway looks. We’re *especially* into individual personal style. Here on this blog, photos are shared to give others insight into TWO growing national epidemics. The photos shared may be considered humorous and funny, but they are not intended for teasing others. The photos are there to enlighten and enrich us all.
MISSION: To create a place for real people to have a say about fashion and to put a light on how some of America’s greatest products are counterfeited.

It's Saturday Night, a Girl’s ONLY night out, and I’m headed to the Club!!! When I got there I noticed that most folks were dressed to impress, but unfortunately, of some of them came up short. Now don’t get me wrong, some girls in the club were looking great. A few girls in particular looked better than me, but others shouldn’t have even came.

One girl at the club was wearing a nice tight black T-Shirt that said “Two Cute”, with short light-khaki shorts, and a small thin white belt in black heels. Now somebody tell me, when did shorts become club wear??? Answer: They Didn’t!!! I don't care how short or cute they are, shorts don't belong in a club. Next, I saw a group of pretty girls wearing spaghetti strap tank tops. Now I know you’re thinking, “What’s wrong with that?” Well nothing, but if you’re in your 20’s and your “goods” look like they belong to a 70 year old, please under NO circumstances, wear a spaghetti strap tank top without a bra. Then I saw was a large woman walking in heels she knew she couldn't walk in. There is nothing wrong with a beautiful plus sized woman, but every female in the world knows the "oh, my feet hurt" walk. You’re not fooling anyone by shifting your weight around in them. Just let the heels go and get a new pair!!! Lastly, I saw a skinny woman in a really nice skin-tight dress. Let's be clear, being skinny does not mean that you look good in everything. If you’re straight up and down skinny, the last thing you should want to wear is a bright-red dress that clings to you and shows the bones.
Overall, I had a great time. I saw a bunch of my friends, and even my cute ex-boyfriend ( who shall remain nameless). As a Fashion enthusiast, I couldn't help but notice these things. Well that’s my story. If you have any fashion stories you would like to share with me, email them and with your permission, I will feature it in Kale's Closet.

"Did you know the skirt is the second oldest women's garment in history? It's preceded only by the loin cloth in age. In Egyptian times, the skirt was worn by both men and women which can be verified by looking at drawings from ancient times."
